How can you create a review that sticks?

Students will be broken up into 16 groups of two to plan a review that sticks. Each group will be assigned a topic, based on science state standards, which they will be tested on for their 8th grade Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) science exam.
Groups must choose 4 out of 54 end products to create review tools.
Students will then receive feedback from another group, and revise their plan, before submitting it to a teacher for grading. A rubric will be given out to assist students with their feedback.
The teacher will use a rubric to grade the planning process of each group.

Students will work within their group to create four end products to act as reviews for their peers for the CMAS exam.
The four end products will be precise, high quality, and presented in a hard copy format to their peers.
Students will participate in peer review to help revise their four end products.

After reviewing their peer’s comments, students will revise their end products and presentations.
Create a final portfolio that includes their four end products, a copy of their presentation, and copies of their peer reviews with notes on how the revisions were used for teacher review after group review.

Students are to address during their presentation, “Why are these reviews the best way to review the this material?”
Students can choose to defend or show off their four end products.
Students shall hand out hard copies of their four end products stapled together to each peer. Students can provide links to games, videos, and audio if it is easier to hand out products in this format.
